Kfilebox 0.4.7 fixes some small problems of the previous version affecting specially Kubuntu systems:

Missing icon on KDE start menu
Wrong icon on system notifications
Missing option on iconset selection in preferences window
Unreadable highlighted options in preferences window

Kfilebox requires KDE 4.4.x

After visiting your site and seeing your screenshots I still don't know what exactly Kfilebox does. Seems to have something to do with Dropbox, but why should I download and use Kfilebox if I am able to just run the Dropbox-Client in my KDE-Environment.

Hi! Yes, this is an alternative KDE client for Dropbox. You don't need it at all, a year ago I was disappointed of having to use nautilus and a GTK application in my KDE environment so I decided to write my own client.

Sincerely, if you are happy with the official application, don't change it. The advantages of mine are a better integration in KDE and the translations made by the users, but it lacks some other features. Moreover you have to consider this:

Please correct the naming in the 0.4.7 source package. The tarball and the directory contained inside are named "kfliebox".

Sorry, but it seems not.
The tarball (http://sourceforge.net/projects/kdropbox/files/kfilebox-0.4.7/Source/kfliebox-0.4.7.tar.gz/download) is still wrongly named (kfliebox-0.4.7.tar.gz) and it doesn't contain the root directory (kfilebox-0.4.7/) anymore.

Hi Guillermo, first of all thanks a lot for your effort developing this awesome kde application :)

i'm dual boot (linux, windows) user in my laptop and I use dropbox on windows (in windows the dropbox folder is D:\My Dropbox\). I want to share same Dropbox folder for both OS ¿it's possible?

i created a symlink ~/Dropbox that points to /mnt/datos/My\ Dropbox:

lrwxrwxrwx 1 carlos users 21 feb 11 01:12 Dropbox -> /mnt/datos/My Dropbox

it's secure this method? i'm doing something wrong?

The reason for using only one folder for both dropbox (windows/linux) is for saving free space (my HD is small)

Hi Carlos, I'm not sure. This is a question about Dropbox internals, so maybe the best thing you can do is to search in Dropbox forums. Anyway, I think you can have some problems with files' encoding.

Nice, but it would be ever nicer with a "pause syncing" option. Starting and stopping dropbox is not an elegant solution at the moment.
